There is a one-time setup fee of $15.00 for film transfers which
includes machine calibration, dry cleaning of film, film repair, color correction,
brightness, contrast, sharpness, and sound (if applicable).
We only charge for the amount of film on each reel, not for the reel
size.
Reel sizes are shown to help you estimate cost. This makes home
movie transfers very affordable.
We process your film
FRAME-BY-FRAME using a built in 3-CCD professional camera scanning
directly off the surface of your film with an enlarged gate for access
to 100% of the film frame. Most competitors shoot off a screen or
telecine unit at 20 frames per second which adds artifacts to your final
product. We capture your film FRAME-BY-FRAME virtually eliminating
all flicker, ghosting, and digital artifacts!
Our machines use a
sprocket-less drive system that protects your film from potential damage
typical of other sprocket driven projectors and transfer devices. True,
total frame discretion means the clearest, most crisp picture possible!

Splicing Repairs FREE! (Film Only)
When transferring your precious films, we take every precaution
necessary to handle your film as delicately as possible. In the event
your old film splices come apart, we will make repairs FREE of charge!
8mm or 16mm Leader Installation ($2.00 each)
At the customers request we can install (or replace damaged) leader so that there is at least a 2
foot section at the start of each reel of film. This is NOT required for
film transfer. Without a leader the first few seconds of footage will
not be captured.

TAPE SPEED & TIME
Standard Play (SP) is the most common
recording speed used for VHS and
VHS-C tapes. You can get up to 120 minutes of recording time on
the normal (T-120) video cassette. This is the speed most rented movies
are recorded. Using the highest tape speed in the VHS format, SP speed,
will offer the highest measurable quality for both audio and video
segments. SP is recommended for duplication.
Long Play (LP) is a seldom used format.
Many newer VCR's are unable to play and/or record in this older format.
Extended Play (EP) or sometimes (XP) is
the longest VHS recording speed.
You can get up to 360 minutes of recording time on a T-120 video
cassette.
